Why should I build with Monument Homes?

Monument Homes is a professional sales, design and construction team that delivers on service, quality and satisfaction within all aspects of the building process. We enjoy the process from concept to completion as much as you will.

What if I have my own plans?

We are happy to price from your own plans and work with your Architect during the build. We are flexible working with other professional organisations.

How long does the design brief and architectural concept plans take?

This can take between 3 to 6 weeks depending on how many changes are required. Then we can begin pricing the plans once all changes have been finalised.

Once the design brief is done can I make further changes?

Yes, you can make changes right up to the working drawings being submitted to council. You can also make changes once the working drawings are done, but any structural changes will have delays with re submitting to council for approval.

Why is it important to have a price and works schedule before working drawings?

Working drawings require Architectural and Engineering expertise to show the way the home will be constructed and ensure all technical requirements are adhered to under the Building Code.

How long does the construction of my new home take?

Most builds take between 6 to 9 months depending on the complexity and size of the home. We will be able to give you an accurate time frame once the concept plans are finalised.

What type of Warranty do we receive from Monument Homes?

We provide a 10-year Master Builders warranty with all our builds.
We also provide a 12-month defect warranty that covers aesthetic issues in new builds and renovations.
